Followers: Sold out, BUT you can still register for the queue so that we can contact you if someone needs to sell their ticket.

Register for the event as a leader or a follower, or if you're fine with either role, that's the best chance to secure your spot at the event! We want to treat everybody equally so we don't offer couple registration. If you want to participate only if your partner gets in too, let us know that in the form.

The registration is binding as soon as you get a confirmation email that you are in.

Dexter Santos discovered Blues dancing in 2005 and found himself immediately drawn to the rhythms and sounds of the Blues. The emotional depth and range, the varied subjects and stories, the gut-wrenching and the hip-shaking, the gritty and the smooth gave new inspiration and direction to his dancing. With a background in various ballroom dances and Lindy Hop, Dexter has studied with and collaborated alongside leading figures in the global Blues dance community, earning a reputation as one of the most respected and engaging instructors on the international scene.

As a teacher, Dexter aims to inspire dancers of all levels with the possibilities that Blues dancing has to offer while preserving its cultural roots, historic identity, and art form. Dexter travels around the world spreading his passion and joy for Blues dancing through his fun, inspiring, and challenging classes. A particular class favorite often referred to as the "Shim Sham of Blues," the Hound Dog routine (a solo Blues choreography danced to Big Mama Thornton's song of the same title) has been taught and performed with dancers in four continents.

You'll get six hours of dance classes in total during Saturday and Sunday. Two of your classes will be solo blues and four of them partnered blues.

On Friday, Dexter will share some of his knowledge of Blues history in a one-hour lecture before the Friday party. Not to be missed!

This workshop is for dancers who have been dancing blues actively for at least one year and taken one or more full season partnered blues course. The participants will be divided in two levels and they'll share two classes together. The division of the levels will be done based on the experience of the dancers. We take into account your blues dance experience in both solo and partnered blues. The higher level will cater to more advanced dancers.

Full pass includes 6 hours of classes with Dexter + blues history lecture + all the parties.

Tickets for the single parties will be announced later if there is space.

Parties are organized on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The lecture is before Friday party, but starting earliest at 5 pm.

Saturday and Sunday classes will run approximately between 11 and 17:30.

More detailed schedule for the classes will be available for the participants closer to the workshop. Some minor changes are possible.
